It’s pretty amazing what people get caught trying to smuggle. Or, more correctly, how they’re trying to smuggle things. Smuggling marijuana inside a battery?!

Well, I’ve made some CSS changes that you may or may not notice. I’m thinking about a new colour scheme, since Shay’s new one is, well, similar. I guess I’m going to have to go coloured now…

Also on the list of things to do: Fix the CSS so the file isn’t called ‘test’. Looks a bit dumb really.

Well, I finished Cowboy Bebop. That really is an exceptionally good series, especially for the somewhat daring things it does with respect to plot. I won’t say any more so I don’t spoil it for anyone.

Also saw Amelie on the weekend. That is also a great work that is all the better for being unconventional. I particularly liked the whole ‘yellow filter’ thing.

Kathleen, I wanted to do this in this most potentially embarassing way possible, and I figured doing it here and now, in front of a quarter of a million strangers was as good a way as any. I love you more then I can describe within the limits of this tiny little story. We’ve been together for many years now, and I’ve known for most of that time that I wanted to spend my life with you. Enough rambling. Will you marry me? Update 15 minutes 30 seconds later: Subj: “Yes”, message body: “Dork. You made me cry. :) ” Hazah! I’m getting married! :)

Good for him!

Well, I finally got around to setting up the ‘net connection at home. For the moment, I’m using my old UNSW account, until I get a new dial-up ISP. Yes, no broadband for the moment, just slow dial-upness.

However, I am posting this from work, which sort of makes this pointless.

Bugger.

In an interview with Cinemaware of Amiga-software-producing fame about the re-release of Defender of the Crown, they mentioned that they would like to re-release Wings! Wings! Ahhhh, the fond memories of that game. Dah Dah de dah de dah daaahhh dah daaaahhh da-di-da da dum, da-di-da da dum, da-di-da da dahhh di dum. We can only hope.

SomethingAwful is accurately named. Here’s a set of altered covers of children’s books. (I’d really, really suggest that you don’t look at these at work…)

This one I thought was particularly appropriate:
