Signs you’ve been playing Deus Ex too much

• You walk into the foyer of an office building and are struck by a compulsion to shock the guard with your riot prod, hack his computer, and turn off all of the security cameras in the building.
• You walk into someone’s office and start opening all of their drawers, desks, filing cabinets etc, on the basis that there’s probably valuable items there, and trying to read their email, on the basis that there’s probably valuable clues there.
• You are in a car park and start to crouch-walk so the inevitable guards won’t be able to hear you.
• You keep wishing you had an automatic friend/foe identifying reticule superimposed on your vision, so you would know which people are agents of evil government conspiracies.
• You are consistently impressed with how lifelike the architecture of buildings is.

Scary part is, the first one did happen to me, and I was tempted by the second on walking into a friends office.

I’ve got to finish Deus Ex so my life can return to normal. (Well, as normal as it gets, anyway.)
